Followers + Likes: no more than 1000 (500+500) per day, no more than 20 per hour.

Unfollow: interval of 40-60 seconds and no more than 1000 per day from non-reciprocal and 1000 from reciprocal (pause between non-reciprocal and reciprocal 15 hours).

Direct messages limits: sending interval from 450-650 seconds, sending messages to followers no more than 100 per day, messages to no-followers 30-40 per day.

Mentions: 5 nicknames in one message with a delay of 350-450 seconds.

Comments: no more than 12-14 comments per hour with a delay of 350-450 seconds, any excess of the limits can be perceived as spam.

Adding photos: on a new Instagram account it is not okay to add many new photos at once, preferably no more than 2-3 photos per day. For old accounts no more than 9-12 photos per day.

Maximum Characters: You can add up to 2000 description characters under your Instagram photo or video.

In case you are planning to choose a specific day for unfollowing people, then we would advise you not to follow and like photos of other users on this day. 

For new accounts in 2021 there are Instagram limits such as:

The first 12-20 days, the interval for all actions performed is 36-48 seconds, and the total Instagram account limit should not exceed 500 for all actions during the day (followers, unfollowers, likes), but it’s better not to do anything at all. It is worth posting 2-3 photos and postponing the account for 2-3 weeks.
