How/Where to find unique filters for IG Stories.

When AR filters first became popular at the beginning of 2020, there was no way to search for specific filters by name. Thankfully, Instagram eventually made it possible to search for filters you've seen by typing in the name of the filter in a search bar in the Effects Gallery.

1. Tap on icon “Your Story” on your newsfeed or you can swipe to the left to open your camera 

 2. Swipe to the left on the camera screen’s circular menu bar until you see “Browse Effect option” and tap on it to open the Effect Gallery 

3. Choose from popular filters on the homepage or scroll through and select from the categories on the top. You can also search for a filter.  

4. You can save the filter/download chosen by taping the download icon on the bottom right, so you could find it easier in your menu. 

Find a filter trough the creator :

The easiest way to search for an effect is by heading to the filter creator's Instagram account. If you want to do that, you'll have to know who created each of the filters, so here are some of the most popular ones going around:

Once you know which filter you want, you can open your Instagram and get it started.

1. If you liked a filter that your insta-followers used, all you need to do is to tap on the name of the filter that is shown under the nickname of the person who is using it. 

 2.You can also find the filter if someone is sending it to you in your DMs
