Choose from the options they give you and download the image you want to use as background for your Instagram Stories.  

• Go to your camera roll after opening the stories
• Select the background 
• Add that background to your story

Add a picture on a background 

You cannot only change the color of the background but also add a picture on it. Once you are done with the first step you can proceed with the next step which will show you how to add a picture on the chosen background. 

• Choose your background
• Open the toolbar from the Instagram Stories
• Open the gallery and choose a picture 

You can add as many photos as you want to by doing the same steps for each picture. Also, you can change the shape of each photo by tapping on it.
